Chase's 9th Bday Astros/Aggie Game

Chase turned 9 years old this month!  Where has the time gone....he celebrated with a family party and a bday party at the Astros game.

He brought 4 friends and they each got 3 autographs from the game on  baseball's we had given them.  Not sure who the players were since they were from the Dodgers but never the less they were excited!!! Greg took all five boys alone and lets just say they all had to go to the bathroom at different times.  Good experience for Greg.

Landre, Parker, Walker, Cameron, and Chase ready for the game!

This past Saturday we took the boys to their first Aggie game.  It felt amazing to be back at Kyle field and the boys felt the Aggie spirit too.  They each bought a football and decided they were going to play football at A&M! We tailgated in the parking lot and the boys played catch.  What a fun day!

The boys end of school awards

The boys ended their school year with a bunch of exciting events.

Science fair project on animal teeth and yes I worked very hard on this!

Braden  (7 years) was a biker in the school circus and he also had a speaking part. Next came his kindergarten graduation, then his awards ceremony today where he got a gold medal for his science fair project!  We are very proud of him!

Braden's graduation with his teacher Mrs. Helmcamp.  She was an awesome teacher!

Chase's science fair project about deer antlers

Chase (8 years) also had an exciting spring with lots of baseball and lots of reading.  He made the Lamar Little League All-Star team and he won the Accelerated Reader award with 213 points.  He received a trophy today in front of the school and also a gold medal for his science fair project.  He loves to read and pushed himself almost every night to finish a book and take the AR test!

Chase 1st place AR and his friend Tate 2nd place
Most importantly, Chase made his first communion this May.  It was such a joy to see him grow in his faith over the year.  And no he is not happy to be wearing a suit!!!
